great game, its cool to see a more specialised tycoon than crank everything to max and win with the different markets. i understand that it's supposed to be arcade-y, but it would be neat to see a slighly more realistic depiction of RAM. say, SRAM is a much higher cost option for cache than DRAM, but has a much smaller negative to MIPS. no stress if its not your idea for the game, but it would be a neat feature to see!
what am I losing money on I sell my CPUs for a profit and make more than my production lines cost but I also am not doing reaserch but I am losing 200 million a month
Does anyone have any tips for getting past 1987-1990, in 1987 Inlet releases a new chip that terminates most of my contracts and causes sales to plummet.
hey is this game still in development? and if It is I would recommend adding a tutorial to explain a bit of it and make sure people can understand what they are doing
Something I missed at first is, after designing your processor, remember to start production from the factories menu, so you can actually have product to sell. Also, don't price it too high.
This game looks very promising! It's already fun and all projected developments will add more depth to the game
I would like to see two features in future developments:
- The ability of selecting different character/companies, each with unique bonuses and disadvantages so that different game strategies need to be considered, adding to replayability.
- Maybe in a more distant future, the possibility of including some multiplayer, with each player running a different company.
create a processor that fits the minimum specs of a contract, make sure said contract doesn't take more than 5 production lines, take the contract, profit

have you checked that you've not given more lines than you have to contracts? they'll fine you if you can't keep up with their demand
I have more than enough lines and there on production for everything and I still have extra
Will it be possible to make your own sockets and IHS?

focus all your money on developing the pla tech in 1986
pga not pla and focus earlier (around 1983)
ok
It would be nice to add a tutorial in-game or in the description in the next update. Other than that it's a great game!

The game is still in development, yes. Thanks for the feedback!
Holy shit, Hardware Tycoon 2 is real
i cant wait for 0.2
Can we get more updates please
They're working on one large update rather than a small update, a Month or so ago they said a few months so likely 1-2 months until the next update
i don't want to be the guy that criticizes everything but... it's over 2 months now, and they said nothing yet about a release date or something.
It was the 14th of Jan this year when they said a few months
ooh.. okay
They don't have a specific date for the update but in discord they said "Hopefully the first playtest will be out by late March"
como voce fez para progamar esse belo jogo ?
How to offer a contract? I couldn't figure it out .
you need a processor that matches the requirements
I'm sure it's a good game, i just keep getting bankrupt.
How do i not go bankrupt?
Thanks.

That seems to have helped, thanks.

Hope you keep with the good work!
Make it work with mobile
yo, it reminds me with Hardware Tycoon And Computer Tycoon Great Game
Sandbox / cheats? 🗿
I could add some cheats, sure
do you have a list of things your hoping to add for 0.2
Yes, there's a list on Discord
I´d like to help you. If you could use some help.
Will architechtures be like a tech tree of things like chiplets, PowerPC, RISC, etc, or will it be like in Hardware Tycoon (2019)?
It will be closer to your first example, with instructions, ISAs, and stuff like that
the temperature project isnt working? is this a known bug
Safe temperature is capped at 95 degrees, so temperature projects do become useless at some point
Once temperature caps, use consumption research to decrease heat.
thanks i was stuck lol!
how come pilog and texas increments keep releasing relatively terrible chips and still take market share from me on the industry space?
Make sure your industrial chips have very low power consumption
when 2.0 release? trying to not be rude
It will probably take a few months
Can you add server and phone contracts?
It's planned!
The game is really good, but it often crashes (for me atleast).
When would 2.0 release?
Really like the game! Will you add GPUs in the future?
GPUs will be added in the future, yes!
Don't pull a Haxor on us.
don't worry, coffeeheaven's working on 0.2
W game but please dont pull a haxor!
How many does one production line produce every month?
One line produces 50 wafers per month, and the amount of units depends on the die size and wafer size
I hope this fills the hardware tycoon shaped hole in my heart
it does
almost, needs a bit of balancing and a bit more development but it is really fun
i have no idea how to not go bankrupt
create a processor that fits the minimum specs of a contract, make sure said contract doesn't take more than 5 production lines, take the contract, profit
turn on automation it'll do all the micromanaging for you and if you wanna do industries make power consumption as low as possible
Have you tried an easy game mode? That'll give you a feel for how everything works
We need Chinese and I can provide translation
